J. Desiree Rodriguez is furthering her education from Regent University; PhD in Communication. Desiree received her Master of Arts degree from Gonzaga University, majoring in Communication and Leadership. She became a published poetry author at the age of 17, and is currently working on a second.  Also at the age of 17 she graduated from the Youth Film Academy (YFA) as well as Barbizon (School of Modeling and Talent) in Northern Virginia.

 

By the age of 19 Desiree signed with Capitol Icon Modeling and Talent Agency as well as on her first billboard. Desiree was an anchor, host, talent, and event planner for Blackvideonews.com. Daily, she is a Special Education Teacher at Taft High School. Altogether, she maintains both of her careers, as they are her passions. While remaining active in her sorority Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, she has continued to be involved in her community.
